TLP Acoustic Night

The THETA LAMBDA PHI Sorority of the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery is celebrating its 34th Year Anniversary this month. They were very kind and generous to support my crowdfunding project and even went out of their way to create a mini gigging event to invite more people/medical professionals/students to be familiar with my music, the campaign and witness a live performance.

———-

The Theta Lambda Phi (TLP) Sorority of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery is more than an organization— it is a 34-year old growing family composed of 411 Ladies. Founded by 41 Lady Pillars, these esteemed physicians created a sisterhood aimed to enhance the medicine experience.

The art of healing is not only learned through medical school, but also through a family that will provide nurturing guidance that marks the TLP Ladies and makes us bound even outside the walls of the hospital and the school. At the same time, the art of healing does not only root from medical books, but also from other avenues, like music. Through the years, it has been proven that music touches souls, melting hardened hearts and mending broken souls. With this premise, through the TLP Acoustics Night we help in touching people’s lives—mixing two arts in one night, harmonizing the art of Music laced with Medicine, a therapeutic that is wholly emotional.
