fix me indelibly
A once transient thought
Now cemented in mind
A haunting visage
That serves as a lullaby
Couching delicately
The need to run into you
And smuggle the answers
To your whys and wherefores.
Like threads from within
Escorting a needle,
Bedroom eyes piercing.
When words become superfluous
I hum a little tune
These clutching hands
Kismet or chemistry, will find yours
We will be known
By the silence we keep,
Painting pictures
Of oblivion and obscurity
Before this chapter closes
Fix me indelibly
Yes, a kiss would suffice.

I really adore every poetry you make, Sir. Congrats for winning John Lennon’s Birthday Contest! =)
Thank you! I’m challenging myself to post one each week.
