hearts and flowers, a john lennon tribute

Remembering John on the 33rd anniversary of his death. I will be performing acoustic sets with guitar virtuoso KAKOY LEGASPI. Hope you can join me in celebrating his life through his music.

Hearts & Flowers: A John Lennon Tribute by Clementine

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” ― John Lennon

I wish to be there with my wife and see you perform awesome Lennon poetry. I’ll do my best to be there tomorrow night. Cheers!

Ah… The John Lennon as ‘Working Class Hero’ World Class Peace & Love Guru (just as long as your name wasn’t Cynthia or Julian Lennon). The myth making machine rolls ever onwards, encompassing ever younger generations – thanks to that most astute of business women, Ms. Yoko Ono Lennon. I am sure that the robustly middle class Lennon is lovingly proud of all that Yoko has achieved, in his name.
Although I realise I am many years away from the show you played, I do sincerely hope that you had a great time and, gave your audience a night to remember. I am curious about one thing though: Was Yoko aware that you were using John’s image? If not, then I hope you got away with it. Rock on…
