semi-finalists to the International Songwriting Competition announced; made it on the list
So stoked to find out that my single “THERE IS NO REMAINING IN PLACE” has been listed as a Semi-Finalist in the 2013 International Songwriting Contest (ISC) under the category Adult Album Alternative (AAA). They announced the results this morning.

This group of semi-finalists will soon be narrowed down to the finalists who will be sent to celebrity judges (they will select the winners). Finalists will be announced in a couple weeks. Winners will be announced at the end of April.
Here’s to hoping the song will make it to the next level.
UPDATE 2/22/2014
I received a congratulatory e-mail from Jim Morgan of ISC. Attached to it is the 2013 ISC Semi-Finalist button.The semi finalists make up the top 8% of around 19,000 entries from over 100 countries. Finalists will be announced on March 3, and winners by the end of April. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
